Reading without leaving the app
Open Guide → Reading library to search study notes and save articles. In an article, use the text-size control, table of contents and Continue where I left off. Bundled content is available offline in installed mobile apps. On the web, offline access requires the app files to have been cached by your browser; an initial visit needs a connection.
Your progress
Progress is stored on this device or browser. It does not sync to another device. Private browsing, clearing site data or uninstalling can remove it. The app reports storage failures rather than promising that unsaved changes will persist.
Official requirements
Study notes are original summaries, not complete official handbooks. Detailed teen and adult profiles are currently reviewed for California, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington; other jurisdictions have general planning checklists. Follow the current rules for your state, age and permit type. Practice scores do not guarantee an official result.
Applications and appointments
PermitTrail does not submit government applications, accept government fees, verify identity or book agency appointments. Reading an imported guide does not complete a government transaction.
